- Be aware of light conservation
- Turn off all lights not needed
- Use low energy bulbs/fittings
- Do not leave electrical devices on standby, this can use up to 20% of normal electricity usage.
- Eliminate draughts from windows and doors with draught strips and seals.
- Close curtains/blinds during cold weather
- Turn your central heating thermostat down by 1*C. This will reduce your heating bill by 10%.
- Insulate your hot water tank/pipes/attic walls to a high degree. It will save you money.
